The Simplon line has been reopened

Continuous rail services through the Simplon have resumed. The Varzo spiral tunnel above Domodossola has been repaired after a construction period of three weeks. There are some final works to be completed, but the important transit axis is again fit for traffic without any restrictions.

ISO Certification Audits successfully completed

In September the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) carried out the first certification audit in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 at the SBB Cargo International Group.
